Our Story
The story of Prairie Gold Transport started in spring of 2010 when Paul McDonald and Ray Friesen joined in partnership with Dale Klassen. They started a trucking business with 4 trucks and Super B trailers. Hauling grain and fertilizer. Since then the commodities hauled have increased but are not limited to : Oil seeds, grain, fertilizer, coal, organics, and certified seeds.
Today after 14 years of business with plenty of hard work, PGT is now running 30 Super B Trucks, 21 Triaxles, and 10 Tandems with 43 of these being owner operators.
We have our own shop located in Winkler with 5 full time technicians and an office with 7 full time members.
